Here are a few simple registration rules:

• The startup must have a single product under pre-clinical or clinical evaluation.
• It should not operate as a subsidiary of any other company.
• The startup should not have any products with regulatory approvals.
• It must be privately funded (non-public).
• The startup should not be generating revenues through any commercialization efforts.

Fellow

Currently enrolled in a fellowship training program at the time of New York Valves 2024.

Physician

Post-fellowship, or post-residency and not currently enrolled in a fellowship program — excluding employees of companies in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, venture capital, management consulting, or financial industries.

Physician: Clinical Cardiologist

Physician, as defined above, specializing in diagnosing, preventing and treating heart disease. Select this specialty during registration to receive your reduced registration fee.

Physician: Imaging Specialist

Physician, as defined above, specializing in medical imaging including echocardiography, CT, radiology, imaging, etc. Select one of these specialties during registration to receive your reduced registration fee.

Allied Health Professional

Nurses, technologists, physician assistants, researchers, pharmacists, hospital administrators, biostatisticians, and other non-physicians professionally engaged in interventional cardiovascular medicine — excluding employees of companies in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, venture capital, management consulting, or financial industries.

Industry Professional

Employees of companies in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, venture capital, management consulting, financial, or other industries — including such employees who are MD, DO, PhD, RN, PA, PharmD, or any other type of healthcare professional whose primary professional activity is as an employee of such a company.

Industry Professional Startup

Industry Professionals, as noted above, who are employed only by a startup company. Inquire about this special registration rate.

U.S. Government Employee

Current employees of the U.S. federal government. You will be required to present a valid U.S. government ID to pick up your badge.

Registration for and access to New York Valves 2024: The Structural Heart Summit is subject to the CRF^®  Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.

Prohibition on Badge Swapping, Sharing, or Lending

Each person attending a CRF^®-sponsored/-managed meeting, symposia, program, event, etc. will be issued an event-specific badge bearing that person’s name. She or he must have the badge bearing their own name in her or his possession at all times while on the premises at which the event is taking place. SWAPPING, SHARING, OR LENDING AN EVENT BADGE TO ANY OTHER PERSON IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. The full badge policy is available in our Terms and Conditions.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be received in writing. Send your cancellation email to [email protected]. 

• If we receive your cancellation in writing before Wednesday, April 17, 2024, 11:59 PM EDT, you will receive a full refund minus a US$100 administrative fee. 
• If we receive your cancellation in writing between Thursday, April 18, 12:00 AM EDT, and Wednesday, May 22, 2024, 11:59 PM EDT, you will be refunded 50% of the registration fee. 
• No refunds will be processed after Thursday, May 23, 2024, 12:00 AM EDT.

CRF^® cannot be held responsible for incorrect and/or duplicate registrations. In such cases, the cancellation policy applies.

Fellows

Registration for Fellows is free; however, a credit card is required during the registration process. A pre-authorization hold of US$100 will be placed on your credit card. You will be charged a nonrefundable fee of US$100 in the following cases: a) if you cancel your registration after Wednesday, May 22, 2024, 11:59 PM EDT, or b) if you fail to attend New York Valves 2024. If you are a fellow and need to cancel your registration, kindly do so by Wednesday, May 22, 2024, 11:59 PM EDT.

In case of cancellation of attendance (by you or by CRF^®), please be sure to cancel any associated travel arrangements (e.g., lodging/housing, airfare, or other travel arrangements, etc.). As more fully set forth in our Terms and Conditions, CRF^® is neither liable nor responsible for any such associated travel costs.

One-Day-Only Policy

By purchasing a One-Day-Only badge, you understand, acknowledge, and agree to abide by the following, in addition to the CRF^® Terms and Conditions:

• You will be able to pick up your badge only on the day you’ve chosen to attend and will be required to return it to the designated registration counter at New York Valves 2024 by the close of registration on the day of your attendance.
• If you do not return your One-Day-Only badge prior to the close of registration on your day of attendance, the credit card on file for your registration will be automatically charged the New York Valves 2024 Full Access registration fee for the designated registration category.
• Refunds will not be issued for changing from Full Access to One-Day-Only Access.
• Multiple One-Day-Only passes cannot be purchased. If you wish to attend more than one day of New York Valves 2024, you must register for Full Access. You may change from One-Day to Full Access by contacting [email protected]. The prevailing Full Access registration rate will apply.

Badge Changes and/or Reprints

The fee for on-site badge changes or reprints is $75 per change/reprint.
